Like all game fowl, the American Game was originally bred for cockfighting but today are mostly used for table (standard) or ornamental purposes. Cocks are good with their hens but do not mix cocks and the hens can make great mothers too. They don't lay much but a beatiful bird to look at.

Ancona are a type of leghorn, originally bred in Italy and known for laying through / being hardy during winter. They arent particularly large for eating but mature for egg laying fast. Anconas are considered flighty but our ladies, with care & time, have become friendly girls who love to be around us.
